Fall for the Arts

Fall for the Arts is a brand new festical to be held October 6, 2012! Fall for the Arts features skilled artists in the different genres of folk art, fine art, and the performing arts. Artisans such as weavers, candle makers, potters, woodcarvers, instrument makers, and heirloom seamstress are representative of the folk art. Painters, sculptors, metal workers, and other fine artists display their works during Fall for the Arts. The focus of this event is to have quality art and genuine hand crafted products and to educate the public in regards to the arts."Living artists", artist demonstrating their craft, fill special tents sponsored by local businesses. Plans are underway to involve local school children in art contest complete with prizes! The committee is also working to bring the 1st Annual Talent Showcase to the festival.
